Fucking Amazing Friday Night in Menver

I learned this weekend that Vail has a male/female ratio of 8/1 (Wikipedia verified - http://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/Relationships/Where_Couples_Met) - Denver is actually called Menver - AND the coolest group of dudes doesn't need chicks to have fun (see photos).

I'm leaving LA.... PERIOD.

Sometimes I get accused of taking too many photos... Here's why that's sooo true!

Enjoy our kickass Friday Night - the pics help me remember what the booze helps me forget

A little place called Horsetooth

We all know and love Horsetooth, it's an oasis for waterlovers, drinkers and hybrids of the two. My buddy Randy owns a nice vessel that will make bi weekly excursions, we all should go.
Above is me re-claiming my bull riding form via tube and girlfriend. She was a rough ride at first but my skills prevailed and it was all smiles as I finish. Below is a pic that should get watersport junkies harder than Chinese arithmetic. The only thing missing in the pic is one of you doing a backside 360 rodeo blah blah blah. You know what I mean. That wake is virginal and it needs you in it......

Below the crew that was in tow..... escalating the situation were pull-ups for shots. First up..... Charlene. Agusto, you should know her, seems like family. Then thats her again with her friend flashing the camera behind our heads. I honestly didnt know who all was going so I'm maintaining my innocence. Love you bud.

Needless to say, a boating debauchery trip is in order.

Weddings, Slosh Ball and the Greatest Decade Ever - The 80's

So obviously from above picture you can tell we had a good weekend. (Please see explanation below).
Friday Max, Greg, Ross, Grady, Chad, Matt, special guest Josh and I all met up at Clay’s old apartment. We crushed the old school way – by passing a bottle of (I can’t even remember what it was) something around and chasing it with Coke in the throw back glass bottles. Pure class.

(Fist Pumping on the way to Tavern)

We then went to the Tavern and hung out and had an overall awesome night.

(Yup she's a bachelorette)

(Abe - How is the flirting going?)

Saturday – was pure shenanigans. Ross Grady and I went to Wash Park for a Slosh Ball tournament. Slosh Ball, for those of you who don’t know, is a combination of kick ball and heavy drinking. You must always have a beer in your hand and you must chug a beer from the keg on second base before you can proceed. Needless to say it gets pretty weird.
(Part of the Championship Team- Team 80's)

(Obv. both DeWalts made a showing...blaring Greg's 80's mixes)

Ross was on some team whose theme was “Shimmery and Shinny” – I know, it’s was as lame as it sounds. Grady and I were on team “80’s”. So obviously with Grady and I’s pure athleticism and the power of having such an unreal team theme we won the championship. (We beat Ross’s team who he insists would have won if we had an equal amount of girls). Rule #72 – No excuses. Play like a champion. (Shot from Fanny Flasque in order to pass second base was substituted for an inning or two. above is Ross's unique style)

The three of us decided we will be hosting our own slosh ball tournament this summer. The major difference will be that we will have a slip and slide from third base to home… details to come.

After leaving the Slosh ball tournament we were walking to our car to drive to our football game (which we also won) (thanks for driving Ross). And we ran into a wedding party. Here is the conversation that ensued.

Ross- “Hey check out the Wedding party over there”.

August – “That would be a hilarious Happy Monday pic… us with the bride and her bridesmaids”.

Grady- “That’s happening”

(Please See First Picture)

After the Football game, which has full contact blocking and is WAAAY more fun that regular intramural football, was over I went to a little cousin get together (21 and over obviously). It turned out to be a phenomenal night and my cousins, most of whom have kids, got to have a night like most of you have several times a week.

I hope Grady or Ross write about the parts of their weekend that I was not a part of. For example – How Ross became the worlds most amazing wing man on Friday night or how Ross and Grady almost got in a fight Saturday night after they got on elevated surfaces at the Tavern and fist pumped. While fist pumping they got yelled at by some (muscular) haters. Grady’s logical and calm response “GO TAKE SOME ROIDS AND SUCK ON EACH OTHERS *#^%$!”.

I Heart Deadmau5

Happy Monday everyone,
If you know me at all you know music dictates everything in my life both positively and negatively. As a result much of how my life is going will be interpreted on this blog through music (only because interpretive dance cannot be done through a blog). Loving Deadmau5 this week for some reason so here you go. I have the next few days off, going to be a lot of gym, pool, laundry cant wait to hear from you all.

Stay on your grind like a skateboard....

Good Afternoon Gents,

This is for the peeps that check this shit more than they should (like me). Its Friday, and I had a pretty good week and I am feeling pretty good so here are some jams for the weekend. The theme is DG4L. These girls are in the small area between hood and pop and even a smaller area of girls that actually have my respect as artists. Among the stars Uffie, you may of heard of her out of the UK. Her album will drop late June and it is something to check out. The song was produced by Sebastian Tellier one of my favorite Dj/producers to date. Can't wait to hear from you all soon!

Hoodie.Allen-You are not a Robot

Memorial Day Weekend = Shitshow Weekend with Shitfaced Friends

Quick Weekend Recap:
Hey all so I know it is almost the weekend agin but as you'll all see later in this note I was a little pre-occupied on Monday to get this up....and I think you guys might get a kick out of it....I figured I would just throw up some pics from the weekend to compliment some of Chad's countdown list, the rest I'm sure everyone can fill in...Happy Memorial Day Weekend..Party

Featured above and below is the ridic shit show that happened at Suite 200 both Fri and Sun Nights...which may or may not have involved 16 bottles and a few of us wearing vails (however you spell that) from the Bachelorette party we destroyed Sunday night...

Following the shit show of an evening we decided...hell...let's have the first annual Denver Pool Crawl...below is a few of the gents that joined...yes, ladies were their too but let's be real we all love eachother and who cares if the girls are in any pics...

Pool Crawlin....

Oh...and for reference for everyone...Chad had mentioned the Glorious Fannie Flasque (actually spelt like that on it) in full force all day...ya half gallon of watermelon vodka in there...you're welcome Michelle for the facial....

And what would a pool party be without some bodyshots....get it ladies. Oh and bodyshots = kicked out of the Manhattan pool in approx. 10 min....so proud

Ya...Fannie Flasque back in action...hot vodka...and the last pool we made it too...Nice work all...3 pools before we were too ridiculous to make it any further...quite the showing...

Just thought this was a rad pic....party

And as a result of all these shananigans...I give you this...Letter to Halsten from her apartment complex describing the incidents that took place this Memorial Day...... I hope you can all read this...I know it's small...
If not I've copied the center paragraph word for word:
"The landlord has received a number of complaints from residents about the behavior of you and approximately 15 guests at the pool on May 31, 2010. You and a number of your guests were highly intoxicated (to the point of being unable to walk). There was extremely vulger behavior and language, which included one or more broken vodka bottles and you being topless in pool area. You were previously warned of similar disturbances by letter of April 26, 2010."
Sorry for partying...

Until next time.....love you all.

Top 10- Memorial Day 2010

What I've learned this week- Blogs are way cooler with pictures. I'll make sure to encapsulate stories with photos next time. Until then, bare with me...

10- getting the penthouse suite at the Ritz- Denver after my friend bid it to $600/night, down from $1400 through his AMEX card

9. Valeting my car in only a swimsuit and a steezy pair of sunglasses

8. 10 bottles at Suite 200 Friday night, 6 bottles at Suite 200 Sunday night. (girl/guy breakdown- 1 girl, 14 guys. you're welcome)

7. Pool Crawl all day Saturday, (Station, Manhattan, Metro) body shots galore!

6. My friends wedding Saturday afternoon- really just an outlet place to hide from the 36 hour debauchery run.

5. Wearing tuxedo's to Gin Mill (Something that needs to be seen to truly appreciate)

4. Going down on Grady to take a shot from his Fanny Flasque (the ultimate pool accessory)

3. Going down on Shellie in a Shark outfit. (at my clients house who plays for the Rapids)

2. The Black and White Ball- an event hosted by Jarrad (Timpi's bf). Shaun and I show up in our tuxes with our dates and realize that there are only 2 other white people there (out of 700). Needless to say we kept off the dance floor.

1. Dry humping my Jr High youth pastor's ex-wife in the bathroom of the master bedroom, at the Ritz Carlton penthouse suite. She is 32 with two kids and actually really hot. I'm pretty sure Adam beat off to her everynight for 4 years in highschool (he was a little upset).

The sad part about the whole situation is... As I was thrusting her into the marble sink, with my bathrobe half on, half off, my pelvis firm against her motherbearing hips, and my hands clenched tight around her upper thighs.... the only thought running through my mind was, "I wonder how this story will stack up to all my friend's weekends in the highlights of the Happy Monday Blog."

Love you guys.

Until next week,

Chuggins

Yachting

As I have said before, my job is a big vacation. The best part is when vendors (restaurants, tours, etc) invite us to come and enjoy something. The idea is that we can get an idea as to what they offer and be able to accurately recommend it to our guests. Tuesday was a yacht tour on Lake Tahoe compliments of the Safari Rose out of South Lake. Can't believe they call this work.
The cruise lasted four hours with drinks, lunch and a tour of historic sites along the Tahoe Coast. The history is fascinating, among the highlights was this, the Fleur de Lac "the flower of the lake." Why was it a highlight? This was the estate in The Godfather Part II one of my favorite films ever. Most of the estate has been replaced by series of condos ranging from 4-7 million dollars with a 300,000 a month HOA fee. However, the boat house where Fredo said his last words to his brother still remain.
The group consisted of myself, The Concierge Team and The Guest Relations Team. One of many tours I will have the pleasure of experiencing. Special thanks to Stephanie for the pictures and setting everything up. Next up golfing then, helicopter rides, glider tours and so on. I will be sure to keep you all posted!

John Wayne and Puking on Folsom Field

This past weekend the fam headed up to North Park Colorado to do "cowboy" stuff. On Saturday and Sunday we woke up early, herded cattle and (as you can see in the picture) branded calves. Wrestling the calves to the ground and holding them down while they got their vaccines and got branded was not an easy task. We all got kicked a bunch and Abe was even accidentally poked in the leg with the vaccine needle, so it's possible that he has some sort of cow herpes or something... not funny. (alright a little funny) Side note- In this picture I am wearing my Grandpa Bill's (The original August William Ritter) hat. RIP Grandpa Bill.
Then after my weekend of being John Wayne, I ran the Boulder Boulder with my brew Benson. We ran the six miles in 45:04 at a 7:16 per mile pace. Mitch would have finished faster if he hadn't had to wait for me 300 ft. from the finish line while I threw up (on Folsom Field I might add). Getting pumped to destroy those of you participating in the Warrior Dash in August.

More Adventure Anyone?

Well its officially June 1 and this outstanding month of adventure has finally come to an end. It has been a month of unparalleled debauchery, friendship, and extreme exploits. When I look back at May, which this blog contains some of the best points of, I can only smirk at the true and utter excellence that all of our friends come together and inspire. On that note I wanted to share with you some of the end notes to my month of May. Obviously the highlight was the wedding....which will without a doubt be covered in due time, but shortly thereafter I ventured westward and rode the desert for a few days with some of my lifelong friends from Vail, Rob, Hansen, and Gotty.

We started by riding about 15 Miles in Fruita, CO on the Kokopelli trail. It was a really great ride along the Colorado River and had plenty of highlights. I had just purchased my mountain bike and we were all getting the feel of getting out of ski boots and into bike shoes, so it was a prefect first ride. We then rolled through Utah and set up camp outside Dewey,UT. We had our own private slickrock course, river access, and a steak and potatoes dinner, pretty nice if you ask me. The only drawback was the epic sandstorm that tried its best to unleash fury on us, to no avail. We then cruised into moab proper and went into the Salt Flats rec area. The ensuing ride on the Slickrock course was really amazing. It took some serious gusto to get up some of those inclines and balls of steel to rally down the faces of that red sandstone, but it was a really amazing time with all those guys. We finished off the trip with a 12 mi ride on the Sovereign Trail a few miles north of Moab on the border of Arches NP. They were all spectacular rides and have inspired me to really put something behind this mountain biking thing. Needless to say it was an amazing adventure and I will continue to make sure that experiences like these never run out. I love all you guys and I hope the month of June only escalates our lives even further, its all FTB.
